In 1994, Dorothy (Dot) and Eric Brandie purchased Templar Croft, set in 20 acres of pastures surrounded by protective forests between the rivers Dee and Don and in the shadow of Bennachie which is the highest peak of the rugged Grampian Mountains in rural Aberdeenshire.
From this ideal location, Dot was well on her way to achieving her life time ambition of owning, showing and breeding Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Related Arabian horses. She had set her heart on obtaining Templar Croft many years previously. and since procuring the property of her dreams, she has worked diligently to earn the reputation of being an established and successful Arabian horse breeder.
The Templar Croft Arabians objective is to "Breed from the Best ~ to the Best" and

although we may not be a big stud, ourMission is to produce quality NOT quantity. Normally, two or three quality foals are bred annually and as will be witnessed from the photos throughout our Website, all the Templar Croft Arabians receive individual care and loving attention at all times. Having such a great admiration for Straight Egyptian Arabians, HT Damietta was purchased in 1996 as a youngster. After an illustrious show career throughout the U.K., "Dammie" was retired to the Templar Croft breeding barn. She has produced two high quality foals, her first filly foal tragically died as a yearling , but after this truly heart breaking experience, Damietta in May 2003 presented a magnificent colt foal Shaikh Al Damaran. The Sire is Shaikh Al Kuran leading U.K. Sire over 2000/2001/2002 and 2003. Damietta's colt may be available for purchase by the right buyer, ~ at Templar Croft, Dot firmly believes that finding the right home for her youngsters is extremely important.
