Templar Croft Arabians is located in the foothills

of the Grampian mountains, near the city of Aberdeen, the oil capital of Europe which is one hour flight time from both London and Amsterdam airports.  Aberdeenshire is renowned for it's beautiful scenery and is famous for it's historic castles and also whisky distilleries.

Dorothy has bred and shown grey Straight Egyptians at the highest level in the U.K. for  the

past eleven years, realising a childhood dream

whereby she developed an affinity with the Arabian

horse initially attracted by it's beauty, elegance and history.

Some four years ago, Dorothy added Straight Egyptian blacks in her breeding programme and has been fortunate enough to breed coal black filly foals to add to her three black producing mares.

During 2005, the Straight Egyptian black stallion RHR Almaas ( Sire - RHR Safar; Dam - Princess Monalia /Double Haziz Halim bloodlines) was purchased from Nancy Lee Wight of Rockin Heart Ranch in the USA. Dorothy is a firm advocate for the benefits of line breeding and believes in Breeding from the Best to the Best.

Dorothy's ultimate goal is to breed a world champion with the added bonus of being black.
